WordPress is the best and most popular blog software in use today . It is an open source blog publishing application powered by PHP and MySQL . It has many features including a plugin architecture and a templating system. Used by over 2% of the 10,000 biggest websites !!!
WordPress released another version of this software but this is in beta vsersion that is wordpress 3.0 . WordPress last version was 2.9.2 . according to their blog .
We wanted to get people testing it this weekend, so we’re releasing it now rather than waiting another week until everything is finalized and polished. There’s a ton of stuff going on in 3.0, so this time we’re giving you a list of things to check out, so that we can make sure people are testing all the things that need it.

Menus still needs some work done, but this patch was already huge to begin with. I’ve got more coming! Let me know if you find any quirks, bugs etc. and I’ll try to get them resolved in the next patch.
