Its delightful news for Gmail users that the Gmail contacts upgraded to new contact manager which has fresh new look and features. Best part about the new contact manager is that its very simpler and consistent with rest of GMail. Gmail not only comes up with new contact manager but also with keyboard shortcuts to its interface.
Let’s understand all the factors or features of the new contact manager from Gmail.
New Design:
Have a look at new contact editing part of contact manager.The design is very easy to use and flexible. 
Flexible to use:
User can add fields to individual contact like nickname,relationship and other custom fields to it.
Easily manages contacts:
Categorizes your contacts with new category feature of contact manager.
Clean up the header part:
In addition to the contact manager changes, Gmail also changed with links to Mail, Contacts and Tasks in the top left and displays a Compose mail button instead of a text.
So overall, The new contacts manager now supports Keyboard shortcuts, sorting by name, custom labels for contact fields, ability to undo changes you made and automatic saving just like Gmail compose among other things. As contact management may be a tedious necessity for most, but Google’s updates to Contacts will help ensure that updating and locating contact records is a much more painless process. However, Google has also made it a bit painful to select messages by removing the links and putting it into a dropdown. Personally, I am delighted to experience this new changes from Gmail, and now waiting for your comment to know your views.
