Back links are very important for blog to get high rank , Backlinks are incoming links to a website or web page and it is a critical factor to SEO (Search Engine Optimization ).SEO is the practice of getting more organic/natural/free traffic from search engines like Google. Below, I have broken down the process of gaining backlinks through blog post comment submission into 5 steps.
1) Find your top ten keywords using the Google External Keyword Tool at
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal . You’ll need this list for many other purposes (i.e. writing your own blog post content)
2) Search for your top 10 keywords on http://blogsearch.google.com to find the top blogs in your business category.
3) Download the Google Toolbar at http://google.com/toolbar so you can see the PageRank of each blog you are about to visit. PageRank is an indicator of how much traffic a site gets, ranging 0 to 10.
4) Click through to the first blog and look at the PageRank. If it’s a four or better, you’ve found a good site to leave a comment on. If the blog uses CommentLuv, KeywordLuv, or DoFollow, it’s an even better backlink building opportunity. They automatically set all blog links to “do-follow” instead of “no-follow”. This means the PageRank will flow through to your site, also known as “Google Juice”.
5) Write a meaningful post comment with a link back to your site. Be sure to use the keyword you searched on as the anchor text of the link (instead of “click here”, use “your keyword” as your link text). Don’t copy and paste a junk/spam statement on every blog because the blogger will probably delete your comment and backlink.

Great tip for starting back linking. You can also search Google with:
site:.com inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “ADD YOUR KEYWORD”
and this will bring up a list of results that match your keyword and again, you can leave a useful comments with a link back to you site.
I had not seen the the blogsearch method though, so great idea.

Great advice! You can also use the following text string in the Google search window to quickly find dot com blogs in your niche that allow comments:
site:.com inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “YOUR KEYWORDS HERE”
Just copy paste all that and put your niche keywords in the last part and you will find all dot com blogs that allow comments, and all will be related to your niche subject!

Yes blog commenting helps to increase inbound links, But you should check weather the blog allows do follow attribute or not. If you comment on no follow attribute blogs , You are not going to get any thing of it. So make a list of do follow blogs, try to write relevant comment on the topic or relate to the post. Otherwise blog admin won’t approve your post.
